Cane’s Chicken Fingers is a casual chain restaurant. They are different from other restaurants because they only offer chicken fingers as food. RaisingCane’s menu prices are also as reasonable as it gets. This allows them to serve high-quality food quickly and conveniently. Wholesome food from quality ingredients is prepared. The atmosphere is fun and friendly.
Its office is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A
support office was opened in Plano, Texas. The restaurant’s name comes from a
dog one of the founders had while working in Alaska. He was a yellow Labrador
called “Cane Rearing,” and they called him shortly “Cane.”
Raising Cane’s history is both exciting and
inspiring. Todd Graves and Craig Silvey began their dream of owning a
restaurant in the 1990s. College professors and potential investors rejected
their business plan. They said a chicken finger-centered restaurant would never
work.
Graves started working as a boilermaker, working in LA for 90 hours. In Alaska, Graves and Silvey were then commercial fishermen. They had 20 hours of dangerous days. They saved money and could get an SBA loan. In 1996 they opened their flagship site near the LSU campus.
The new restaurant was located next to a competitor with his chicken finger. Friends and family have helped the restaurant, and some of its names are carved in the woodwork. They were so popular and had to remain open until 3:30 a.m. In 1999, the competitor had left the company.
Silvey exchanged his stake in the company in 1999 to proceed with his education but later returned as Vice Chairman of Finance and IT. They currently have more than 260 locations in 20 countries, from coast to coast. They are also located in Kuwait. The company is continuously growing, and the CEO, Graves, and the chain have provided the communities they serve with 25 percent of their profits.
Raising Cane’s primary focus is chicken fingers. Your chicken is fresh, never frozen. They select premium chicken breast lines and use a special marinade that helps tenderize and moisturize, and add flavor. Every piece is dipped and breaded by hand. In a blend of premium Canola Oil, they are fried.
The fries are grade A center-cut and are extra long. They are cooked to have an external golden-brown crisp while remaining soft in the middle. The coleslaw is produced daily in every restaurant. The Texas toast is made from sesame seeded bread and brushed before grilling with a mixture of butter and garlic.
Cane’s Sauce is a flavor that is coveted. Every batch is fresh every day. The recipe is highly secret and is only known by the managers. They serve Coca-Cola drinks, tea, and lemonade themselves. Tea is delivered sweetly or unsweetened and is cooked several times a day. The lemonade is squeezed every day from real lemons.
The chicken fingers are served with drinks, sauces, and lateral in combination. It’s about $10 and under. Larger orders can be made for large parties of chicken fingers. They also offer iced tea and lemonade in gallons. All this is served in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Cane’s Chicken Fingers may not be very diverse, but they serve excellent fresh chicken fingers.
